How does the micro storage connect to my home grid? Is it complicated?

It's very simple. The system includes an AC cable that plugs directly into a standard outdoor power outlet. It's a true plug-and-play system. No complex electrical work is required.
How much electricity can one Suncake unit generate per day?

Depending on your location and sunlight exposure, a single 800W Suncake system can generate approximately 2.5 to 4 kWh per day on average, which can power a refrigerator for a day or charge an electric bike multiple times.
Can two micro storage units be connected together?

Currently, parallel connection between two main units is not supported. Expansion is only possible through designated battery expansion modules.
Does the system support mixed use of new and used batteries?

Yes, the system supports hybrid use of new and second-life batteries, thanks to smart BMS and balancing control algorithms.
What safety protection features are included?

The system comes equipped with multiple safety features:

What are the standard transportation methods?

I see some products are not certified for grid connection. Is ESA-Athena certified in Europe?

Absolutely. Both Suncake and its micro storage unit meet all key EU safety and grid-connection standards (such as CE and VDE 4110). This guarantees the system is safe, legal, and compliant for home use. Always look for certified products—uncertified ones may be illegal to connect and could void your home insurance.
Does the ESA-Athena micro storage system have protection against power surges or short circuits?

Yes, the ESA-Athena Micro Storage Unit has multiple safety protections, including anti-islanding, ground fault detection, and over-voltage/over-current protection, ensuring safe operation within your home's electrical system.
Will ESA-Athena still generate power on a cloudy day?

Yes, it will. While generation is highest under direct sunlight, the monocrystalline solar cells are efficient enough to still produce a meaningful amount of electricity on cloudy or overcast days.
Is it safe to use micro storage during rain or snow?

Yes. The ESA-Athena features an IP66 protection rating, ensuring it is fully waterproof and dustproof. It is engineered to withstand a wide range of outdoor weather conditions.
