GoodWe PVBM and Henkel Forge Global Partnership to Advance BIPV Innovation

Suzhou, China, June 11, 2025 – GoodWe Technologies Co., Ltd. and Henkel (China) Investment Co., Ltd. solidified a global strategic partnership during a signing ceremony at GoodWe's SNEC exhibition booth. Yuan Dapeng, Sales Director of Henkel's Construction Business Unit, and Xia Yuanfu, Deputy General Manager of GoodWe PVBM, formalized the agreement, marking a new chapter Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) technology.

Founded in 1876 with over 145 years of success, Henkel operates worldwide with leading innovations, brands and technologies in two business areas: Adhesive Technologies and Consumer Brands.This collaboration deeply focuses on the innovative integration of photovoltaic systems and advanced materials. Leveraging GoodWe PVBM’s achievements in lightweight PV technology alongside Henkel’s century-old expertise in adhesive formulations, a perforation-free safe PV solution will be developed for low-load, high-water-resistance roofing applications.  The partnership will drive global implementation of a "New Standard for Photovoltaic Building Roofs." Going forward, comprehensive collaboration on joint R&D, co-development of industry standards, and worldwide market promotion will fully advance large-scale adoption of this innovative solution in key markets, helping the construction sector usher in a new low-carbon era.
