On July 5th,  the Eco Forum Global Guiyang 2025 kicked off in Guiyang with a grand ceremony, drawing nearly 1,000 guests from 62 countries and regions. As China's only national-level international forum dedicated to ecological civilization, the event serves as a platform for advancing sustainability dialogue on a global scale.

Nestled in the Shennongjia Nature Reserve—home to the endangered golden snub-nosed monkey—GoodWe installed 507 high-performance Sunshine Series solar tiles to power a research base that was once reliant on firewood and coal for energy. This initiative brings sustainable energy to one of China’s most ecologically sensitive regions, marking a meaningful step in balancing human activity with nature.

Designed for extreme climates, these tiles hold a Class A fire rating and are resistant to high winds, snow, salt spray and humidity, making them ideal for the forest environment. With a total capacity of 46.6 kWp, the zero-carbon microgrid is expected to generate 49,400 kWh of clean electricity anually and reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 1,126 tons over its lifespan—equivalent to planting 10,000+ trees.
